Liverpool 4-0 Man United 1990 (Peter Beardsley hat-trick)

A single of Peter Beardsley’s best hours in a glittering profession. This was the last Liverpool hat-trick in opposition to their arch rivals until Dirk Kuyt broke the sequence in March 2011. A hugely entertaining sport in between the reigning champions and the FA Cup holders, the scoreline to which does not reflect the pattern of play. In the commentary box, Brian Moore and Lawrie McMenemy.

Btw: Does anyone have Liverpool’s title-winning 1-2 at OT in March 1990?

Unbelievable offside decision at 5:55, NEVER offside even in 1990!

Great vid. You can see from this that the standard of football dropped as it went further into the 90’s
