Saw the final when lying in hospital. After the first half, I thougt: Oh well, at least it’s better than Juve vs. Milan 2003, ’cause that was the. most. boring. CL game. ever. Nevertheless, I favoured LFC in that game and was afraid of a severe beating.
But what happened then…as a German, it finishes second after Germany vs. Hungary 1954. Great one. Oh, and third comes Inter’s triumph against Barca last Season. 🙂

I’m a Chelsea fan and I almost start to cry when I hear the video of the 30,000 odd Liverpool fans singing You’ll Never Walk Alone at 3-0 down. No other supporters in the world would make that much noise with that scoreline, the fans make Liverpool who they are.

I concede that is possible. Perhaps the HD replay wasn’t available. I was really just trying to have a go because I think Gerrard simulated there. Too many players dive and Gerrard doesn’t do it often, just when it counts.
