    @shipston05 money and prestige son, make their big heads even bigger, someone like Beckham will only go to ‘big’ clubs, you wont catch him playing for anyone other than a ‘high profile club’ He will kid everyone he’s a football man and loves to just play, but it’s all a front, he won’t play until he’s 40, just for the love of playing. No chance, he’s selfish and overated, if he looked like Scholes he wouldn’t be in his league FACT. I wish he’d fuck off and stick to a failed movie career !

  2. shipston05 Says:

    @StretfordReds I know, that’s the problem I think with Benzema, the rest of the players are so big that he just isn’t going to play, Beckham was different as he was there until he was 32, but Owen wasn’t getting any play, he was a sub, and he still scored 13 goals, what is the point of going somewhere where you’ll be a sub and STILL be the best there?!?!

  3. Alexfusion0123 Says:

    @emad309 he had a great scoring record there tho. if he was played more i reckon he wouldnt have left and he may still be there now banging in 30 in the league everyseason.

  4. StretfordReds Says:

    @shipston05 Biggest club in the world maybe?

  5. StretfordReds Says:

    Another over paid no interest in the fans, just his lame horses. One goal wonder, Liverpool legend, then Man United player ? You wouldn’t catch Scholes playing for Liverpool now would you?

    i know pool fans call him scum and traitor…well hes at united now…and we took him in like he was one of the family…and wen i say we..i mean the club and fans

    he is part of the family..and there is no pressure on him….he shud have came to us sooner

    Maybe Owen did make a mistake leaving Liverpool back in those days, but life is strange. Who would of thought that only a year after he was gone they would of went on to lift the European Cup. No one. The squad they had and where they were going, it would of took a gambling man to predict their sudden rise. So, yes i understand his move to Madrid. At the time it made sense. i hope he lifts the premiership with united, cause he deserves it. One of the all-time greats of the league.

  9. sparced Says:

    Retire and go play with your horses, traitor.

    Let’s just take a moment to think who have joined Real Madrid and been a flop in some peoples eyes, Owen, some think although I think he still has a good amount of touch as that never goes, it’s just injuries and speed, Beckham, again still got a fantastic touch, just speed letting him down and now Benzema. WHY DO PEOPLE WANT TO GO THERE!!!!!!

  11. paulmorris7777 Says:

  13. curryshankill Says:

  14. Typhlosio7V Says:

    @undrugged
    torres is a better striker? You are a big fool, ok currently he is but torres wont touch owens achievements

  15. Typhlosio7V Says:

    @undrugged
    Ok Liverpool won the champions league without him, Well done to that but im sure he can look back at his career to say that he’s done everything. Not many English players get the chance to play abroad say in la liga and at the time La liga was the biggest league and real madrid were the worlds best. So yes no fool would say no to madrid. Ok he didnt have the best of careers in madrid and he has come back to win something he hasnt (premier league) which is why he chose man utd

  16. JTGaming Says:

    he won sports personality of the year in 2000 i think. i feel sorry for the guy he was amazing but has got worse

  17. undrugged Says:

    @Typhlosio7V you are talking absolute nonsense. Owen made a huge error leaving Liverpool. The world knows that.

    He made a fool of himself saying he wanted trophies, and then Liverpool won the CL without him. If you really believe him when he says “Man Utd….dream club” then you must be mad. He is now saying what he feels he should, with a hint of bitterness.

    He hasn’t had the career he should have had, and I feel that is his ownn fault. Oh and Torres is a better striker for my money,

  18. NICHOLASM1987 Says:

    @buckmofo Actually i will give you that. But since then FLOP!

  19. petrucci15 Says:

  20. dede00009 Says:

  24. buckmofo Says:
